Sponsor Spotlight – Latido de Mexico

We get to cheat a bit on this Sponsor Spotlight but we won’t cheat the owners of Latido de Mexico.  Monica Hartlief and Susan De Lima have again supported Taste of Playa as sponsors  and as Executive Committee members.  Monica committed herself to the event in 2009 as the Executive Chair of Operations.  She subsequently pulled in her business partner Susan De Lima, who is responsible for the catering and event operations of Latido de Mexico so that Monica can take on her 2010 role as the Executive Chair of Restaurants and have Susan add her flair as the Executive Chair for Operations.  This team dazzles their customers and now dazzles guests to the Riviera Maya with their volunteer and sponsorship efforts put into Taste of Playa.

Latido de México, means ‘the heartbeat of Mexico’ and this team of women put their heart into their business.  As property managers, villa rental specialists, caterers, wedding planners and hosts, Latido de Mexico knows what the Riviera Maya has to offer and ensures that their customers and guests get the very best of the area.  Having their hands in all areas of a customer’s experience provides them with the opportunity to make vacations not just good, but great!.  They make the visitor’s experience easy from the first contact to the final good-bye and retain their guests throughout the years.  Why let a good thing go when you have two thoughtful and detailed women to look after your every need?

With Monica originally from Holland and Susan coming from the far north in Canada, guests get the international taste of Playa del Carmen through their hosts.  With both living in the area for over 6 years, they can share their experiences, their expertise and their knowledge of the area steering customers in the right direction.  Monica originally came to the Riviera Maya as a dive instructor so she can direct you above and below the water.

These women are what the Riviera Maya was set out to be, a place to come and play out your dreams, exercise your passions and  get involved in the daily life of Mexico.  Their tales can be read on the Latido de Mexico blog, and their services reviewed on their website www.latidodemexico.com.

Thanks to you Monica and Susan for wearing many hats in the Taste of Playa event.  Your commitment is appreciated and your participation more than expected.
